Like most authors, my love affair with the written word started as a child with the books I read. Even today, love to read almost as much as I love to write. My favorite stories are the ones that transport me, that bring me to places and introduce me to characters that leave me breathless…the ones that spark the fire of my imagination, allowing me to dream in the world of ‘what if?’

So what’s next for you as a writer?

What inspired the idea for the story?
The book was inspired by the true events that occurred in the hamlet of Sleepy Hollow during the time of the Revolutionary War. Washington Irving wrote a wonderful legend, but it was truly complete work of fiction...a true tall tale.
What actors would play your Hero and Heroine in the movie version?
I think that Harry Styles from the band One Direction would be perfect for my hero, Hunter Morrissey. He’s 17, and tall and has a lean athletic build… exactly what I envisioned when writing the character. For my heroine, Rowan Corbett...hmmm...I'm not sure. Perhaps my readers could give me a few suggestions.
What is the one-sentence synopsis of your book?
Hollow’s End...a tale of lies and true evil, and a love that took centuries to right a wrong that never should have been.
Will your book be self-published or traditional?
Hollow’s End will be published by Coventry Press Ltd.
How long did it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript?
It took three months to get the bare bones of the story outlined and roughly written, and then three more to flesh it out. It’s a work in progress…
What other books would you compare this story to within your genre?
Hmmm. I’m not really sure. This book is historical, yet it's got both horror as well as paranormal elements in it too...and let’s not forget about the romance!
Who or What inspired you to write this book?
I wanted to set the record straight. Plus, I grew up in the Hudson Valley not far from Sleepy Hollow, and more importantly, my husband's family is actually from Sleepy Hollow.
What else about your book might pique the reader’s interest?
That it’s inspired by the true story...on fact.
